Every Tuesday we look back at historical events of Sebring and Highlands County Florida that shaped who we are today. And our historical record also has some dark chapters to it that we must acknowledge.
A dark day in our shared history occurred 7 years ago this week on Wednesday January 23RD 2019 at 12:35 PM when 5 women lost their lives at the SunTrust Bank on U.S. 27.
Reflection Park now sits where the bank once stood.
We remember - Debra Cook, Marisol Lopez, Jessica Montague, Ana Piñon-Williams, and Cynthia Watson.
We must never forget that tragic day in our history. We must remain #SebringStrong forever.
