It's Q & A time - with the 13TH edition of your questions answered. Let's GO !
Q - Why is your web site always down with some weird Apache Tomcat server error ?
A - We know. It's been like that since late-March. Also - when the web site is up - most of what you click on errors out with a Lucee 6.2.6.19 error. It's been reported many times to our web site provider. We don't recommend accessing our web site until all issues have been resolved. We'll post here on our Facebook page once it's fully working again.
Q - Are memberships still $25 ?
A - YES - Individual annual memberships are only $25. Incidentally - family annual members are only $40. (These two membership tiers are without the NARM sticker on your membership card which gets you into other museums for free or with discounts.) Please call our office at 863.471.2522 for more information - or visit us during regular business days and hours (Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM).
Q - I heard your museum is closing for the summer.
A - Not true. We are staying open through the summer. It's an excellent opportunity for our local year-round residents to come in out of the heat and rain (once it gets started) and see and experience the history of Sebring in our historic house.
Q - Are you all doing anything special for the 4TH Of July ?
A - YES - We are actually hosting America's 250TH celebration inside and outside our museum as well as the Jack Stroup Civic Center from 4 to 8 PM on that Saturday afternoon leading-up to the fireworks display at 9 PM. We'll post much more information on this the closer we get to that date.
Q - Can you have better food at your luncheon ?
A - The pizza was a big hit with the Sebring High School students who performed for us a couple of Saturdays ago. But we know that not everyone is a fan of pizza. Our Board-Of-Directors recently discussed this at their monthly board meeting, and the result is that we will likely return to the potluck format for our Saturday July 25TH Quarterly Membership Luncheon. Stay tuned for more information.
That's all for this edition. Great questions. We hope that we provided great answers. Keep asking !
