Description
Introducing our November bus trip, and it's an encore to a place that we've been to and enjoyed before. By request - we're heading back for the first time in two years to the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Seminole Museum in far-southeastern Hendry County (40 miles south of Clewiston) on the Big Cypress Reservation.
We nearly filled-up a 56-passenger luxury coach last time, and we enjoyed their state-of-the-art museum, their mile-long boardwalk behind the museum through a natural cypress dome, as well as their annual American Indigenous Arts Celebration on their fairgrounds.
Our bus trips are always open to the general public. You do not need to be a member of our Sebring Historical Society in order to participate, but if you are a member - then be sure to always claim your 10% discount.
The details are on the flyer. The slightly more than 100-mile / 2-hour drive each way will give us a solid 4½ hours to enjoy the events of the day.
Come meet our new Archives Center clerk Sue to sign-up for this fun bus trip. Our office is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM.
